About the role

  • The AM Lab is a UAE based precision manufacturing company solving spare parts supply risk for industrial operators across the GCC using additive manufacturing and CNC machining.
  • We are looking for a Head of Technical Business Development to own our sales pipeline and manage key strategic partnerships.

What you'll do

  • Run end to end business development across target verticals: oil and gas, defence, aerospace MRO, heavy industry, and food and beverage.
  • Secure facility visits, extract parts lists from maintenance leads, and convert conversations into quote packages and POs.
  • Photograph and document worn parts against OEM number plates.
  • Work with manufacturing team to assess feasibility across CNC and AM.
  • Build account plans that move from first meeting to repeat business.
  • Manage technical and commercial cadence of strategic and channel partnerships.

What we're looking for

  • Technical sales or BD background in industrial equipment, spare parts, or MRO.
  • GCC market experience and existing regional network are close to essential.
  • Comfortable reading part drawings and tolerance specs.
  • Self directed and comfortable operating with founder level autonomy in a startup environment.
  • Arabic fluency is a strong plus.

Bonus

  • Experience in oil and gas equipment distribution, aerospace MRO, or industrial spare parts brokering.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 / AS9100 vendor qualification requirements.
  • Existing relationships with procurement or maintenance leadership at O&G or industrial operators in UAE or Oman.

Role Description

  • This full time, on site role is based in Dubai.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, build relationships with key industrial and manufacturing clients.
  • Manage sales pipeline, prepare proposals and technical presentations, conduct product demonstrations, negotiate commercial terms.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams for accurate scoping and timely delivery.
  • Analyze market trends, provide feedback on product enhancements, contribute to strategic growth initiatives.
