Role Overview
Technical business analyst role combining business analysis with full-stack and mobile development.
The role provides technical direction, requirements analysis, solution design, implementation support, and development-team guidance.
Location and Work Arrangement
- Full-time onsite role based at the client office in Montreal.
- The role includes occasional visits to client sites in Baie-Comeau, Bécancour, and Deschambault.
- Some night conference calls with global teams may be required.
Languages and Communication
- Fluency in both French and English is required.
- Advanced French-Canadian proficiency is required for reading, writing, and presenting workshops attended mainly by French speakers.
- The role requires business-case analysis, stakeholder communication, project sponsor relationship management, user training, and user experience management.
Technical Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on technical direction for project implementation in a distributed development environment.
- Work with .NET, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Azure PaaS services, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
- Use Blazor or Angular for front-end development, with one required.
- Work with mobile technologies, primarily iOS development and MAUI.
- Design and code applications according to specifications and company coding standards.
- Review pull requests and maintain Azure CI/CD pipelines and ARM templates.
Analysis and Delivery
- Develop high-level designs that convert functional requirements into business processes.
- Participate in requirements, design, and construction phases to support successful delivery.
- Clarify business requirements and change requests with customers.
- Identify and document requirements for new business or technical opportunities and enhancements.
- Manage change processes and communicate with customer points of contact.
Team and Support Responsibilities
- Manage daily activities of onsite and offshore development teams as needed.
- Mentor the development team and provide technical assistance and feedback on deliverables.
- Collaborate with process owners, business stakeholders, technical stakeholders, and global teams.
- Handle incident management, troubleshooting, and L2 and L3 support tickets.
