Role Overview
At Acturis, innovation is not just part of our culture - it is in our DNA.
Our journey began in 2000 in the garden shed of our co founder, Theo Duchen, who - together with fellow former McKinsey partner David McDonald - set out to reinvent insurance technology.
From those start up beginnings, Acturis has grown into a global SaaS leader transforming the insurance industry.
Today, over 100,000 users in 40+ countries rely on our platform to run and grow their businesses.
By partnering closely with brokers, insurers and MGAs, we continue to shape modern insurance across both personal and commercial lines.
Recognised as a Great Place to Work® 2026, Acturis combines the agility and innovation of a start up with the scale and stability of an industry leader.
You will join a team where expertise is valued, ideas move fast, and talented people make a real impact from day one.
And as an EcoVadis Committed rated organisation, we focus on creating long term value by operating in a sustainable and responsible way.
Day to day you will:
• Work with clients and internal teams to gather requirements and translate them into clear, detailed technical specifications.
• Design and deliver high quality software implementations, solving complex technical problems using a structured and logical approach.
• Take ownership of discrete projects, managing delivery to specification while continuously improving the Acturis platform.
We offer structured development, clear progression, and genuine ownership - whether that means leading projects, shaping solutions, or mentoring others.
You’ll work in a collaborative environment where strong performers progress quickly.
You can expect:
• A transparent progression structure with structured targets, termly feedback, and annual performance reviews.
• Early responsibility on client facing and technical projects, with opportunities to influence solution design and delivery.
• Comprehensive onboarding, ongoing professional development, and access to industry recognised training.
