Technical Architect- Microsoft - Power Platform

The opportunity

Technical leadership

• Lead end-to-end Power Platform solution design using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Dataverse, and AI Builder.
• Translate functional and business requirements into scalable technical architecture and specifications.
• Define non-functional requirements for performance, security, scalability, and compliance.
• Act as the technical authority across engagements and enforce enterprise architecture standards.
• Conduct code reviews and design validations.

Project and client delivery

• Oversee project delivery from requirements gathering through deployment and post-launch support.
• Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, and client stakeholders.
• Ensure solutions meet security, privacy, and compliance standards, especially in regulated environments.
• Support business development, pre-sales, solutioning, deal governance, estimation, pricing, and proposals.
• Lead technical workshops and demos and advise clients on digital transformation initiatives.

Team management

• Manage and mentor consultants and foster technical excellence and continuous learning.
• Support recruitment and onboarding of technical talent.
• Promote agile delivery practices and DevOps principles across teams.

Skills and attributes

• 6–8 years of experience in software development or technical consulting, including at least 3 years in Power Platform leadership roles.
• PL-400, PL-600, or equivalent certification.
• Deep expertise in Power Platform components and integrations.
• Experience with Azure services, DevOps pipelines, CI/CD, data modeling, API integration, and security frameworks.
• Agile/Scrum experience.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; French is an asset for Québec-based projects.
• A proactive, results-oriented, strategic thinker who can adapt to changing client needs and industry trends.

Compensation

• The anticipated salary range for Toronto and Montreal is CAD 115K to CAD 160K.
• Compensation is determined by factors including internal equity, education, relevant experience, knowledge, and applicable skills.
