Role Overview
Technical Analyst/System Analyst role focused on credit and debit card systems.
The analyst bridges business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver system solutions.
Required Skills
- Strong functional knowledge of credit or debit card issuance, authorization, clearing and settlement, card control, and digital servicing workflows.
- Strong SQL querying and data analysis skills using relational databases such as Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server.
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
- Experience implementing applications using WebLogic or WebSphere.
- Experience with AWS or Azure cloud environments, hosted applications, managed databases, integrations, and hybrid environments.
- Hands-on experience with card management systems such as WAY4 or First Vision.
Key Deliverables
- Analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
- Prepare functional specifications, system flow diagrams, interface definitions, and data mappings.
- Perform impact analysis for change requests and enhancements.
- Assess system dependencies and advise stakeholders on feasibility and risks.
- Prepare architecture documents as part of solutioning.
