Tech Lead, Infrastructure Engineering(Cloud FinOps)

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

7+ Years of IT Experience and Relevant 2–5+ years of experience in Cloud FinOps, cloud cost management, FP&A, cloud platform operations, or technical financial analysis.

Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP billing, pricing models, and discount mechanisms (e.g., Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, Committed Use Discounts).

Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel.

Experience with BI and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.

Experience with cost allocation, forecasting, anomaly detection, and optimization analysis.

Ability to partner directly with engineering teams and translate cloud usage patterns into financial insights and recommendations.

Familiarity with FinOps frameworks and best practices.

FinOps Certified Practitioner and/or a cloud certification (preferred, not required).

Experience supporting regulated industries (e.g., financial services).

Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence without authority and drive adoption of cost governance practices.

This role focuses on cloud financial management and optimization and is not a transactional finance or AP/AR position.

Ability to travel up to 25% if needed.
