Khadoom is building Qatar's first AI-powered personal assistant and seeks a Tech Lead to drive technical direction and architecture. The role involves building production-ready features across frontend, backend, AI, and integrations.

Responsibilities
- Lead the technical direction and architecture of the platform
- Build and ship production ready features across frontend, backend, AI, and integrations
- Design scalable backend systems, APIs, data models, and internal tools
- Build AI powered conversational experiences using LLMs, RAG, structured outputs, tool/function calling, and agent orchestration
- Improve reliability, performance, security, and developer experience of the platform
- Build and improve dashboards, workflow tools, automation flows, and operational systems
- Review code, mentor engineers, and maintain high engineering standards
- Work closely with founders to turn product ideas into reliable production systems
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong experience with TypeScript, Node.js, React/Next.js, and modern backend development
- Proven experience building production AI applications using LLMs, RAG, AI agents, tool/function calling, or conversational systems
- Strong understanding of AI application architecture
- Experience designing scalable systems, APIs, databases, integrations, and cloud based applications
- Strong knowledge of software architecture, debugging, performance optimization, and engineering best practices
- Comfortable working across frontend, backend, AI orchestration, integrations, and product architecture
- Experience with Flutter or mobile app development (bonus)
- Experience with WhatsApp Business API, Instagram messaging, or chat based products (bonus)

About Khadoom
- Khadoom is building Qatar's first AI powered personal assistant for real world physical tasks.
- We are creating an AI first operations platform combining conversational AI, intelligent agents, workflow automation, logistics orchestration, and human in the loop execution.
What you'll do
- Lead the technical direction and architecture of the platform.
- Build and ship production ready features across frontend, backend, AI, and integrations.
- Design scalable backend systems, APIs, data models, and internal tools.

What we're looking for
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.

- Comfortable making technical decisions while remaining hands on.

- Experience building dashboards, admin panels, workflow builders, or analytics systems.
- Experience building bilingual or Arabic first AI products.
