Role Details
The role is within the Tech and Digital business unit and the SHIKHAR COE team.
The role reports to an Engineering Manager and is an individual contributor position with no direct reports.
The listed locations are Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, and Gurgaon, with no travel required.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop cloud-native microservices using DDD and TDD principles with REST API development.
- Deliver software through agile development within a DevSecOps environment.
- Design performant, resilient, and highly available services across application, data, and infrastructure layers.
- Create, maintain, test, and debug backend applications while collaborating with engineering and testing teams.
- Translate user stories into scalable technical solutions and implement services for business functions.
- Use service-oriented architecture patterns including Saga, circuit breaker, CQRS, and event-driven designs.
- Apply reliability, scalability, and consistency practices including fault tolerance, load balancing, caching, retries, and locking.
- Deploy cloud deliverables with advanced monitoring, debugging, and tracing capabilities.
