This role is for a Senior Utilities & Maintenance Engineer responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of utility systems and electrical infrastructure across the plant.
The position involves executing preventive, predictive, and shutdown maintenance, managing automation systems, and supporting qualification and validation activities.
The engineer will oversee equipment such as chillers, compressors, boilers, and generators, while ensuring adherence to SH&E norms, regulatory standards, and internal quality systems.
Roles & Responsibilities
• You will be responsible for recognizing potential hazards during critical maintenance activities and coordinating safety requirements through work permits, LOTO implementation, and JSA reviews to ensure full compliance with SH&E norms.
• You will be responsible for planning and monitoring predictive, preventive, and shutdown maintenance of electrical systems and utilities, maintaining good housekeeping, and ensuring availability of critical spares while minimizing consumption.
• To handle operation and maintenance of utility systems including HVAC (AHU, chiller), pumps, blowers, and associated mechanical equipment.
To handled the Procurement, QMS, HVAC Validation, Computer system validation, Drawing approval, Design Load calculations of HVAC & Utilities.
• To monitor and maintain system parameters such as pressure, differential pressure, flow, and temperature for efficient operation.
To workout on MIS reports, Energy saving & water saving projects.
• To carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of pumps, valves, pipelines, and rotating equipment.
• To ensure proper functioning and alignment of mechanical components and attend leakages, vibrations, and abnormal noise.
• To prepare and update SOPs, Maintenance records, checklists, and logbooks.
Energy saving projects, knowledge of Automations, interlocking, earth testing well versed with the computer system.
To ensure the adequate inventory of Utility, HVAC spares.
Educational qualification- Diploma / Graduation in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field is mandatory Minimum work Experience- 3+ / 6+ years of experience Skills & attributes – Functional Skills-
