Team Leader Facilities Maintenance

High School Diploma or GED required; A technical degree or certification in HVAC, electrical, mechanical systems, renovation techniques, building maintenance, or construction technology is strongly preferred.

3-5 years of relevant hands-on experience in general maintenance or construction trades (e.g., plumbing, carpentry, drywall, welding) may be considered in lieu of formal post-secondary education.

2 years’ experience in a leadership role (ie. Team Lead, Lead Hand, Foreman, Supervisor).

Experience in facilities maintenance in a manufacturing environment with office space preferred.

Valid “G” class Ontario Driver’s License. Forklift experience an asset.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and digital reporting tools.

Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals

Strong knowledge of commercial building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, BMS, fire safety)

Experience using CMMS for work orders and maintenance tracking

Working knowledge of employment, safety, and regulatory standards (ESA, Human Rights, OHSA, NFPA, ADA, Ontario Building Code)

Ability to safely operate powered and manual tools and equipment

Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and repairing building systems

Able to work independently and lead a team, adapting to changing priorities

Clear communicator with good documentation skills

Must have a good understanding of manufacturing principles and a good understanding of types of machinery and processes used at Wolf Steel
