Role overview
Oversee an area of the production process during the shift.
Lead a team of operatives to meet KPIs and customer expectations in full and on time.
Work with other departments while maintaining health, safety, food safety, and quality standards.
What you will do
- Lead shift colleagues and ensure shift KPIs are achieved.
- Schedule and assign team tasks, monitor performance, and provide feedback.
- Handle colleague queries and liaise with HR and training teams.
- Maintain production and food safety records, including digital records.
- Analyse data to identify trends, problems, and improvement opportunities.
- Maintain food safety and health and safety standards.
Who you are
- Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or distribution centre environment.
- Practical knowledge and experience in an operational environment.
- A collaborative team player who creates a positive environment.
- FMCG or food manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential.
