The Role
The Team Lead, Software Development will lead a Calgary-based technical team for Seequent Labs.
The role combines senior full-stack development with people, performance, and project management.
The team delivers research infrastructure and cloud-based prototypes in collaboration with researchers and AI scientists.
This is an office-based role with cross-time-zone collaboration and occasional Tier 3 after-hours support.
Responsibilities
- Manage, coach, and allocate work for a prototyping team.
- Build the Labs portal and GCP-based cloud infrastructure for high-performance computing.
- Provide architecture guidance and ensure security and functional requirements are met.
- Oversee project lifecycles, prioritization, and development risk.
- Work with customers and commercial engineering teams to transition successful prototypes into products.
