Team Lead, Operations - Middle Mile

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Review staffing, attend leadership meetings, complete readiness checks, and review volume, CPT, and bagging plans.
• Deliver the start-of-shift brief and verify headcount, FCLM/CALM logins, and scanning readiness.
• Drive throughput across inbound, sort, and outbound operations; manage CPT priorities, labor movements, and exceptions.
• Track quality metrics, scan compliance, and time off task throughout the shift.
• Conduct safety audits, enforce PPE and ergonomic standards, improve incident rates, and lead incident and yard safety response.
• Engage with associates, provide real-time coaching and feedback, and develop the team.
• Complete volume handoffs, area readiness and 5S activities, shift handover documentation, Kaizens, and defect reduction.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience in a customer-facing environment, warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing.
