Role overview
ID Logistics is hiring a Warehouse Team Leader to support daily operational execution and frontline associate leadership in Milton, Ontario.
The role is on-site, full-time, and reports to the Area Manager.
The position is responsible for safety, quality, productivity, service targets, and employee engagement.
Team and shift leadership
- Supervise warehouse associates across picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and related functions.
- Assign daily tasks, monitor workflow, and manage staffing, attendance, capacity, and shift handovers.
- Lead shift huddles and briefings and communicate key operational updates.
- Drive performance through coaching, feedback, accountability, and follow-up.
Performance and improvement
- Track units per hour, order accuracy, on-time shipping, labor efficiency, and other operational KPIs.
- Implement Lean and Amazon-style best practices, identify bottlenecks, and improve throughput.
- Support staffing and recruitment planning and recommend actions to address operational risks.
