Process Overview
The Payment Investigation team is part of the Global Payment Operations hub in India.
The process investigates payment-related queries from clients, internal departments, bank branches, and external banks and provides timely resolutions.
The stated operation sites include Scranton, Richmond, Hyderabad, and Gurugram.
Payment Operations Duties
- Investigate enquiries and identify root causes.
- Contact external banks through SWIFT correspondence messages.
- Post payment adjustment entries on client, internal, and nostro accounts.
- Follow up with external banks for details, confirmations, and fund recalls.
- Coordinate with onshore and offshore teams in daily activities.
- Follow defined procedures and highlight anomalies caused by process changes.
- Apply payment concepts including MT103, MT202, MT202Cov, and other administrative messages.
- Deliver work accurately and on time.
Associate Responsibilities
- Work as an individual contributor reporting to an FLM.
- Resolve queries raised by clients, internal departments, bank branches, and external banks.
