About the Role
Numu Nursery is looking for a Teaching Assistant to support lead teachers in daily nursery tasks, ensuring the safety and development of children. The role involves classroom management, engaging with children, personal care, and contributing to the educational experience.

Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
- Assist children during meals, sleep, restroom breaks, and other activities
- Engage with children positively and set a constructive example
- Provide additional support to students with diverse needs
- Support lead teachers in maintaining student records and communication with parents
- Assist with organizing class activities, events, trips, assemblies, and concerts
- Provide administrative support including resource management and ICT assistance
- Cover for absent teachers when necessary
- Monitor children for safety and well being, report concerns
- Participate in nursery activities, events, committees, and marketing initiatives
- Maintain confidentiality and respect local culture, customs, and laws
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with children in a school or nursery
- Proven through reference letter

- Cover for absent teachers when necessary, ensuring continuity in the learning environment.
- Continuously monitor children to ensure their safety and well being, reporting any concerns of child abuse or neglect.
- Participate actively in Numu Nursery activities, events, committees, and marketing initiatives.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect local culture, customs, and laws.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with children in a school or nursery, proven through reference letter.
