About the Role

Responsibilities
- Provide classroom instruction in core subjects using Multiple Intelligences
- Maintain a productive and engaging classroom through effective classroom management strategies
- Facilitate extracurricular activities in collaboration with the Self Awareness/Humanity Teacher
- Utilize the STAT framework to manage instructional practices and provide individualized student support
- Complete all required record keeping tasks
- Participate in the school’s Professional Learning Community
- Attend and actively participate in school field trips and activities
- Provide and engage in peer mentoring sessions with colleagues
- Act as a mentor to designated students
- Facilitate required parent conferences for each student
- Participate in the development and execution of a professional self growth plan
- Prepare and submit detailed substitute teacher plans
Requirements
- Professional certification in 5 9 subject areas
- Proven experience in classroom instruction, preferably using Multiple Intelligences or differentiated instruction methods
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and students
- Commitment to continuous professional growth and student centered learning

- Competitive salary range for full time positions: $45,000 $60,000.
- Competitive salary range for part time positions: $23,000 $30,000.
