Responsibilities
- Follow weekly plans prepared by the coordinator
- Plan, prepare, and present lessons that cater to the needs of the various abilities within the class
- Prepare unit plans and lesson plans with detailed required skills and standards to be covered, lesson objectives, and procedures for delivering instruction
- Use effective strategies in differentiating instruction
- Integrate technology in classroom instruction (Google Apps, Google Online Classroom, etc.)
- Engage students in the learning process and interact with students in a professional and caring manner offering constructive, encouraging, and timely feedback
- Maintain discipline in the classroom
- Follow school rules and regulations regarding the applied disciplinary scheme
- Manage students’ behavior in the classroom and on school premises and apply appropriate measures in cases of misbehavior
- Prepare monthly and semester revision sheets and tests, while maintaining their confidentiality
- Mark work (homework and classwork), and grade quizzes and exams regularly and on time
- Correct copybooks and homework daily
Requirements
- Experience in lesson planning and delivery
- Ability to differentiate instruction
- Proficiency in integrating technology in classroom instruction (Google Apps, Google Online Classroom, etc.)
- Strong classroom management skills
- Experience in assessment and evaluation
