About the Role
The Ministry of Finance, UAE is seeking a Tax Exchange of Information Specialist to support the competent authority's obligations under international tax information exchange agreements.

Responsibilities
- Receive, review, and process EOI requests from foreign competent authorities under tax treaties, TIEAs, and multilateral agreements
- Conduct initial validation of requests to ensure compliance with legal and procedural requirements (e.g. foreseeable relevance, scope, confidentiality)
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and domestic authorities to collect relevant information within prescribed timelines
- Prepare draft responses and supporting documentation for review and approval
- Maintain accurate case management records, audit trails, and statistics for reporting purposes
- Support the handling of EOIR and other EOI related operational tasks as required
- Adhere strictly to confidentiality, data protection, and information security requirements
- Contribute to performance metrics, including turnaround times and quality standards
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in tax administration, international taxation, regulatory compliance, financial services, or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Accounting, Taxation, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline
- Exposure to tax treaties, information exchange, or regulatory reporting is preferred
- Professional tax or accounting qualifications are an advantage
- Strong analytical, organizational, and written communication skills
- Ability to work with confidential information and meet strict deadlines

Role Purpose
- To support the competent authority’s obligations under Exchange of Information on Request (EOIR), Automatic Exchange of Information (AEOI), and treaty based cooperation by processing inbound and outbound information requests in accordance with international standards, domestic law, and internal proc

Experience
