Role Description
The Tanker Ship Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai.
The role manages the safe, efficient, and compliant day-to-day commercial and operational activities of assigned tankers.
The operator coordinates with masters, charterers, agents, and brokers and supports adherence to charter party terms.
The role includes handling demurrage and other claims and assisting with pre-fixture and post-fixture management.
Qualifications
- At least two years of experience in tanker ship operations is required.
- Sea-going tanker experience or prior shore-based tanker operations experience is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of charter party forms and tanker cargo operations is required.
- Strong organization, planning, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills are required.
