Company Description

  • Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts is a distinctive group of deluxe hotels emphasizing people and rewarding environments.
  • Swissôtel Al Maqam is a contemporary five star hotel in Mecca, part of the Abraj Al Bait complex, near Masjid Al Haraam.

Planning & Organizing

  • Review and update Logbook, check equipment, maintain a friendly and cheerful disposition.
  • Oversee day to day operations, report to supervisors/night manager, monitor employee performance.
  • Handle guest complaints, implement Front Office OSM, attend training classes.
  • Ensure awareness of daily activities and product knowledge of hotel facilities.
  • Print panic report at least twice during shift.

Operations

  • Prepare for daily arrivals, room allocation, check traces for special requests.
  • Register and process check in for all arrivals, update guest information in computer.
  • Handle cashiering, foreign exchange, night audit, and settlement upon departure.
  • Handle walk in and call in reservations when room reservations section is closed.
  • Provide friendly service, respond to guest requests, resolve complaints.
  • Issue guest room key cards, check and convey messages to guests.
  • Assist at Information counter, Foreign Exchange, Night Audit, Business Centre as assigned.
  • Check paymaster, review log book, verify outstanding items, file daily reports.
  • Attend briefings, focus on guests, maintain eye contact, acknowledge all guests.
  • Communicate shift information to next shift, coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, GM regarding VIPs.

Qualifications

  • Tamayyaz Program is for Saudi Nationals Only.
  • Open to candidates with little to no work experience, including fresh graduates and up to 6 months experience.
  • Basic English skills are a must.
  • Strong passion for the Hospitality Field.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Team player who contributes and proactively assists co workers.
  • Ability to work a flexible roster depending on departmental needs.
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, always remaining calm and courteous.
