Role Overview
Golden Threads Tailoring Workshop is seeking an experienced Master Tailor specializing in men's fashion and custom-made garments.
The role is responsible for the technical and fitting side of production rather than stitching every garment personally.
Location and Work Arrangement
- The position is based in Dubai, UAE.
- The work location is in person.
Core Production Responsibilities
- Take customer measurements, understand requirements, prepare patterns, mark fabrics, and cut precise garment pieces.
- Conduct trial and final fittings, identify fit issues, issue alteration instructions, and approve finished garments.
- Prepare complete cut sets and hand them to stitching tailors with construction and finishing instructions.
- Monitor stitching progress and provide technical guidance on assembly, measurements, fitting, and corrections.
Garment Specializations
- Work with men's suits, jackets, blazers, formal and casual shirts, T-shirts, trousers, waistcoats, coats, uniforms, traditional garments, and bespoke clothing.
- Apply appropriate cutting and construction methods to cotton, linen, wool, wool blends, polyester, denim, suiting fabrics, silk, satin, and other materials.
