Role Overview
Sahara Textiles is seeking an experienced and skilled Tailor to perform dress alterations and custom modifications.
The role focuses on women's dresses and evening wear and requires strong sewing, tailoring, and fitting skills.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Take accurate customer measurements and sizes.
- Alter, shorten, and lengthen dresses to achieve the required fit.
- Take in or let out garments and modify sleeves, necklines, hems, and other dress features.
- Perform custom dress modifications based on customer requirements.
- Repair minor damages and finish garments to a high standard.
- Work with the sales team to understand customer requests.
- Maintain an organized tailoring workspace and complete alterations within agreed timelines.
