Job Summary
ANDGARMENT TRADING AND TAILORING is seeking skilled and motivated Tailors to join our growing production team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for garment stitching, alterations, finishing, and ensuring high-quality workmanship for uniforms, workwear, and customized apparel.
Key Responsibilities
- Stitch garments according to approved specifications and measurements
- Perform garment alterations and adjustments as required
- Operate industrial sewing machines and tailoring equipment
- Ensure garments meet quality standards before completion
- Work with various fabric types and garment styles
- Follow production schedules and achieve daily targets
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Assist with sample development and production orders when required
- Report any production or quality issues to supervisors
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Tailor in a garment factory, tailoring shop, or uniform manufacturing company
- Good knowledge of garment construction and sewing techniques
- Experience working with industrial sewing machines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines
- Immediate joiners are preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: QAR 1,800 per month
- Performance Bonus based on productivity and quality
