Role Overview
GardaWorld is hiring a Tactical Security Guard within its Security Services business unit.
The role requires strong observation, social skills, environmental awareness, and the ability to anticipate and respond to risk.
The guard patrols environments such as retail stores, airports, and security facility centers.
Compensation
- The stated wage is $23.69 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Patrol critical areas to identify suspicious activity.
- Check identification and control access to secure areas.
- Respond quickly to threats or incidents and document actions taken.
- Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras.
- Handle alarms and conduct on-site checks.
- Work with law enforcement during serious incidents.
Qualifications
- Hold a valid security license.
- Be able to stand and walk throughout the shift.
- First aid certification is an asset.
