Systems Integration Test Engineer (2nd/3rd Shift)

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Integrate hardware, software, and opto-mechanical systems.
• Develop system-level test plans based on system requirements.
• Develop test approaches and fixtures for optical systems.
• Define and execute optical and communication performance tests.
• Support prototype module testing and debugging.
• Support optical, electrical, and mechanical component selection and testing.
• Troubleshoot systems at the system level.
• Develop troubleshooting documentation.

Required Qualifications

• At least three years of experience bringing up electro-optical systems is required.
• Experience with VOAs, optical spectrum analyzers, power meters, and oscilloscopes is required.
• Understanding of serial, USB, Ethernet, electronic, optical, and mechanical systems is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• The candidate must be self-directed and able to work with little supervision.
• Willingness to work second and third shifts as needed is required.
