Systems Integration Engineer

• Develop integration, verification and validation strategies aligned to system requirements, architecture and programme milestones.

• Author and maintain test plans, procedures, specifications and reports for laboratory, rig, ground and flight activities.

• Support the integration of sub-systems, identifying, investigating and resolving technical issues and interface problems.

• Execute or oversee verification and validation activities, ensuring results are captured and linked to requirements and acceptance criteria.

• Support trials and demonstrations, including planning, readiness reviews, execution support and post-activity reporting.

• Work closely with design, safety, requirements and project teams to ensure integration and test activities are practical, efficient and well controlled.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of integration and test processes, tools and evidence management approaches.

• Experience in systems integration, verification, validation or test within complex engineering programmes.

• Strong understanding of requirements-based test approaches and structured evidence generation.

• Ability to produce clear test documentation and to work methodically through technical problems.

• Experience supporting trials, demonstrations or system acceptance activities, particularly of airborne systems, would be beneficial.

• Awareness of safety-critical development and regulated engineering environments.

• Degree in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience in fast-paced R&D or startup environments, with rapid prototype iteration times

• Experience in delivery of airborne systems within the defence industry would be highly advantageous.
