- Monitor system performance, diagnose bottlenecks, and apply corrective measures to prevent downtime
- Automate routine infrastructure tasks using scripting and configuration management tools
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to align infrastructure with application and business requirements
- Document system configurations, standard operating procedures, and incident responses
Requirements
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration platforms including Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack
- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go
- Familiarity with networking concepts including VPNs, load balancers, and firewalls
- Prior experience supporting production environments in a contract or freelance capacity
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and their integration with infrastructure management
