Our Electrical Distrubition Systems (EDS) team has a very exciting and challenging opportunity available in Troy for a Systems Engineering Manager! This individual will:

Interface with Ford Engineering management team, act as EDS Systems Engineering point of contact for Aptiv

Lead and develop the Aptiv EDS Systems Engineering team

Manage Systems Engineering activities including design development, validation and production Wire spec / size selection, inline pinouts, power distribution, grounding, device connectors and pinouts, schematics Meetings with customers to understand and communicate the designs Verify compliance to customer requirements

Implement and maintain overall engineering objectives and initiatives

Confront and solves performance/operational issues to improve development efficiency

Oversee project management process and delivery timelines to keep projects on schedule

Provide input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility

Resolve escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments including internal and external customers
