Role Overview
CACI is seeking a Systems Engineer to evaluate requirements, develop architectures, and guide systems engineering activities for complex IT environments.
The role is accountable for the technical integrity of work and deliverables within its domain.
Core Responsibilities
- Evaluate user requirements, CONOPS documents, and high-level system architectures.
- Derive formal, testable system requirements.
- Design and maintain system architecture and system design documentation.
- Architect and optimize hybrid on-premises and cloud infrastructures.
- Lead system development and implementation planning.
- Author and execute system integration and test plans.
- Prepare systems engineering management plans and related artifacts.
- Conduct feasibility studies and advise on alternative technical approaches.
- Lead integration of requirements, system design, and emerging technologies.
- Engage government representatives and senior executives on complex engineering matters.
- Collaborate with program managers, project managers, and technical teams.
- Ensure the technical integrity of work and deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on systems engineering and IT architecture experience is required.
