Systems Engineer - Service Providers

• Capture customer requirements, market trends and competitive insight for product management and business units.
• Continuously develop technical, industry and competitive knowledge.

Core qualifications and experience

• Typically 6 or more years of relevant service provider network experience, or equivalent depth of experience, is preferred.
• Expert-level understanding of IP routing technologies and protocols is required.
• Strong knowledge of MPLS and segment routing is essential.
• Hands-on capability in service provider routing is required.
• Experience designing resilient, scalable and operationally supportable network solutions is required.

Additional qualifications

• A relevant bachelor's or master's degree, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
• Experience in data centre switching, network security, automation, virtualisation, cloud networking or observability and assurance is useful.
• Knowledge of Python, Ansible, NETCONF, YANG, REST APIs, JSON or OpenConfig is desirable.
• Relevant industry certifications are beneficial but not mandatory.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation and whiteboarding skills are required.
