DPG Solutions is seeking a mid to senior level Systems Engineer to support 24/7 mission operations in Dulles, VA.

This position supports operational systems that require high availability, disciplined troubleshooting, clear communication, and strong technical ownership.

The ideal candidate has experience supporting complex systems in secure DoD, IC, or space related environments and is comfortable working non standard shifts.

This role requires someone who can identify issues quickly, understand operational impact, coordinate across teams, and help keep mission systems stable and available.

• Support 2nd and / or 3rd shift operations for a 24/7 mission environment
• Act as a System Responsibility Engineer for assigned operational systems
• Monitor operational systems for health, performance, and availability
• Troubleshoot technical issues across systems, applications, infrastructure, and networks
• Coordinate with mission operations, engineering, cybersecurity, and customer stakeholders
• Support incident response, anomaly resolution, and root cause analysis
• Document operational issues, shift activity, system status, and corrective actions
• Support configuration management, maintenance windows, testing, and system upgrades
• Identify operational risks and recommend improvements to reliability and supportability
• Maintain a clear understanding of system dependencies and mission impact
