The System Engineer will be responsible for leading the design, development, integration, and validation of complex systems that support mission-critical applications in the defense and commercial sectors. You will independently identify and address system and software defects, demonstrate an ability to practice sound systems and software engineering discipline, and decompose complex problems to formulate solutions.
Education & Experience: • BS Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or equivalent STEM field with 4-5 years experience • Demonstrated Ability in root cause analysis, problem solving skills, and statistical analysis • Demonstrated Ability in scripting languages such as Python • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance at the SECRET level. The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $102,000 to $146,000 . This range represents a good-faith estimate of the base salary that Thunderbolt Solutions reasonably expects to pay for this role at the time of posting.
Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the position, relevant experience, education, certifications, specific technical skills, internal equity, and current market conditions. This position may also be eligible for a company bonus and comprehensive benefits , including health insurance, paid time off (PTO), and a 401(k) retirement plan.
