Provides architectural guidelines for all software design activities across current and future technology environments
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of technologies, planning, design, and analytical methodologies
Responsible for the design and architectural guidelines for current and future software technology initiatives
Must have a demonstrated ability to lead a team of high-performing individuals across a multi-site, multi-disciplinary organization
Ability to analyze high-level needs and, through a structured, logical approach, refine them into an evolving architecture that culminates in a fielded product
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field with 5 years of relevant experience; or a Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant work experience; or a PhD with 1 year of relevant work experience.
Applicants must have a current, active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (such as Security+ CE, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA, etc.) at the time of application, which is required to start.
Must be a U.S. Citizen with an Active DoD Secret security clearance
Willingness to travel between development sites (Colorado Springs or Huntsville) may be required
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, can work independently, and possess the poise and flexibility required to work in a highly dynamic environment

Must be a self-starter who can initiate research and clearly document results
Must possess a strong understanding of system software deployment architectures and continuous integration/continuous delivery ( CI/CD )
Must have demonstrated leadership skills over software projects
Ability to document architectures using system modeling tools, such as CAMEO or Enterprise Architect
Ability to understand and decompose requirements to support verification and validation testing of software components
Ability to generate detailed, repeatable, automated test procedures
Ability to extract data to support analysis requirements
Ability to generate procedures that test functionality
Ability to apply Agile and Lean Product Development principles and to train others in a DevOps-type environment
Should understand the Ballistic Missile Defense System ( BMDS )
Able to write and implement engineering plans for a project.
Proven experience working in a team environment is required
Previous experience should demonstrate the technical skills and responsibilities for the position cited here
Will have previously architected automation pipelines to enable effective development in environments with rapidly changing requirements, design challenges that require novel solutions, fast-paced work, and tight deadlines

Certification : INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) Certification
Certification : Object Management Group Certified Systems Modeling Professional - Model Builder Fundamental (OCSMP - MBF)
