Role Overview
• Job Summary The Systems Engineer is responsible for supporting and maintaining the company’s end-user computing environment. This includes installing, configuring, and troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, and related systems while ensuring compliance with IT standards and security policies. The role provides Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to users and collaborates with network and systems teams to ensure stable and secure operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and support desktops, laptops, printers, and other end-user devices.
- Perform software installations, updates, and patch management across user systems.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for on-site and remote users.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and policies through Active Directory and Office 365.
- Assist in deploying standard desktop images and maintaining compliance with IT policies.
- Ensure endpoint security through antivirus, encryption, and update compliance.
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for user incidents and escalate complex issues as needed.
- Maintain accurate asset inventory and ensure proper tracking of IT equipment.
- Collaborate with network and systems teams to resolve connectivity and performance issues.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including hardware setup and access provisioning.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of IT or systems support experience.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office 365.
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory administration.
- Familiarity with endpoint management and patching tools.
- Understanding of basic networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi).
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
