The Opportunity
Nutanix is seeking a Systems Engineer to act as a trusted advisor during presales and the customer's transformation through adoption of the solutions portfolio.
The role partners with sales to provide technical expertise to customers and prospects.
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver sales presentations, product demonstrations, and technical evaluations or proofs of concept.
- Demonstrate Nutanix solution features and explain benefits that support customer purchasing decisions.
- Size and configure Nutanix solutions.
- Build long-term customer relationships and act as a trusted resource.
- Communicate customer feedback into the Nutanix organization and help resolve or escalate product issues.
- Develop account plans, customer persona coverage models, and proposals with sales counterparts.
- Recommend and design solutions based on Nutanix offerings.
- Collaborate with the wider presales team to obtain technical wins efficiently.
What You Will Bring
- At least 7 years of experience in a customer-facing technical Systems Engineering or Solutions Engineering role.
- Bachelor's degree and working knowledge of information technology, or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on technical aptitude, adaptability, cross-functional collaboration, and analytical problem-solving ability.
