We are seeking an Systems Engineer 1 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business Unit. As part of (SES) Strategic Business Unit you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates and maintains electronic security services inclusive of intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, it systems, perimeter defense and command and control systems for federal, local and commercial customers across high-growth markets.
Design, develop, and maintain software applications, services, and system integrations.
Translate functional, business, and technical requirements into software solutions.
Develop, test, debug, and deploy software using approved programming languages, frameworks, and development tools.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, architecture diagrams, code documentation, and user guides.
Participate in requirements gathering, system analysis, and solution design activities.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, system administrators, cybersecurity personnel, and stakeholders to ensure successful system implementation.

Perform unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and support user acceptance testing activities.
Implement software development best practices, including coding standards, version control, code reviews, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.

Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive, proprietary, and customer information in accordance with applicable policies and regulations.
The incumbent must possess a B.S. in Engineering Technology or a related degree.
