Systems Data & Change Senior Consultant

What you’ll be doing

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the delivery of automation, reporting and data initiatives that support Finance and wider business objectives.

You'll design and deliver scalable solutions using Microsoft Power Platform technologies, including Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse and Copilot Studio, helping to improve controls, reduce manual effort and enhance decision-making across Finance.

Leading a team of analysts and developers, you'll provide coaching, mentoring, technical leadership and performance management to support colleague development and drive high-quality delivery.

You'll set the direction and priorities for a portfolio of initiatives, overseeing the development of management information, dashboards and analytical solutions that provide trusted insights and support strategic business decisions.

Working closely with stakeholders across Finance, Technology, Risk and Operations, you'll build strong relationships to ensure the successful delivery of change initiatives and business outcomes.

You'll also drive the adoption of automation, data and AI capabilities through training, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement, while championing innovation and identifying opportunities to leverage new technologies to improve efficiency, strengthen controls and create value for Finance.

About you

Minimum requirements:

• Extensive experience leading the design and development of Power Apps and Power Automate solutions, including Dataverse
• Demonstrable experience leading the design and development of Power BI solutions, including data modelling, DAX and dashboard development
• Certification in Microsoft Power Platform technologies, such as Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals (PL-900), or equivalent
• Proven experience managing and developing technical teams, including coaching, mentoring, objective setting, performance management, and capability development
• Significant experience working within a Finance function or supporting Finance teams, with a strong understanding of financial reporting, planning, forecasting, reconciliations, controls and general ledger processes
• Evidence of stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence, challenge constructively, and build effective relationships with colleagues at all levels
• Experience establishing governance frameworks, development standards, guardrails and best practices for automation solutions
• Demonstrable interest in AI, automation and emerging technologies, evaluating and championing new capabilities that drive improved business outcomes
