Systems Analyst

Position Information

Systems and Network Support

• Install, configure, administer, maintain, test, evaluate, and repair computer networks, workstations, servers, hardware, and software.
• Manage user accounts and computer and telephone rooms.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, LAN, WAN, and Internet issues.
• Respond to software error messages and support network communications systems.
• Provide technical advice and escalate major issues to vendors or technicians.

Systems Improvement and Security

• Analyze, recommend, and implement process improvements.
• Consult with others to evaluate and resolve computing and system requirements.
• Inspect, evaluate, and diagnose computer equipment and systems.
• Plan and coordinate technology installations, relocations, acquisitions, modifications, and upgrades.
• Plan and implement network security measures.
• Manage network disk space and secure system backups.

User and Technology Operations

• Provide end-user support for all applications.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of technology devices.
• Train users in the proper use and security of systems.
• Enter commands and activate controls on computers and equipment.
• Use computers and point-of-sale systems to enter and locate information.
• Support guest service needs and assist other employees when required.

Desired Qualifications

• A technical, trade, or vocational school diploma is desirable.
• At least two years of related work experience is desirable.
• No supervisory experience is required.
• No license or certification is required.

Workplace and Physical Requirements

• The position is not remote and is performed at the specified workplace.
• The role requires moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and positioning objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• The role requires prolonged standing, sitting, or walking and use of regular stairs and ramps.
