Systems Administrator (SA) Skill Level 1

Kaizen Approach is currently seeking a Systems Administrator to support the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology systems.

In this role, you will manage IT system infrastructure and support day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution across client, server, storage, network, and mobile environments.

You will also provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, including problem identification, diagnosis, escalation, and resolution, while communicating system status to agency management and internal customers.

This position involves supporting dispatch systems, resolving hardware issues, and configuring and managing UNIX and Windows operating systems, network components, and operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance.

You will work in a secure environment supporting critical mission objectives.

• Must have the ability to provide support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology systems.
• Must possess the ability to provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution for system and user issues.
• Must be capable of managing the daily configuration and operational activities of Information Technology systems.
• Must have the ability to provide assistance to users in accessing and effectively using Information Technology systems.
• Must possess the ability to support day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution across client, server, storage, network, and mobile device environments.
• Must be capable of supporting escalation processes and communicating system status to agency management and internal customers.
• Must have the ability to optimize system operations and resource utilization and perform system capacity analysis and planning.
• Must have five (5) years of experience as a Systems Administrator supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Must have a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university, OR ten (10) years of Systems Administrator experience if a degree is not held.
