The Systems Administrator manages the day-to-day operations of systems and solutions within CDC’s Corporate and Operational Technology environments. They ensure seamless integration and ongoing support while acting as the primary escalation point for Help Desk incidents.
Other Responsibilities Include:
Install, configure, and maintain software, hardware, networks, and technology tools.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls.
Manage network servers, workstations, and infrastructure, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
Implement upgrades, patches, and new releases while developing technical documentation and IT policies.
Train, mentor, and support staff in adopting new technologies and best practices.

This role is ideal for a candidate with proven experience in troubleshooting complex application and system issues at Levels 2 and 3. The incumbent should also have strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, M365, Intune and VMWare. Australian Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a NV1 Security Clearance.
