Role Overview
Lead the testing team and ensure delivery of high-quality software products.
Plan, coordinate, and oversee testing activities, resources, strategies, and timelines.
Support night and after-office-hours testing when required.
Test Planning and Leadership
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test strategies, plans, and processes aligned with project requirements and business objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and manage testers to support productivity, quality, and motivation.
- Collaborate with project managers, software managers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and testing scope.
Test Execution
- Oversee functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.
- Manage test environments, tools, and automation frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Coordinate testing with external vendors or partners when applicable.
Metrics and Risk
- Define, monitor, and report testing metrics, progress, quality, and risks to senior management.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to software releases and deployments.
