The role supports the Canadian Armed Forces C5ISR-T program, an integrated tactical system covering communications, networking, battle management, and information management.
Role Overview
The HQ Systems Engineering team defines the detailed design of C5ISR-T Headquarters systems.
The posting seeks Junior and Intermediate Systems Engineering Analysts for work based in either the Ottawa or Calgary facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Elicit and define system requirements and desired capabilities with the Department of National Defence customer.
- Develop activity, sequence, use case, and block definition diagrams for mission scenarios and use cases.
- Develop system requirements, interface specifications, and end-to-end information flows.
- Manage traceability from higher-level requirements to lower-level requirements and test artifacts.
- Use MBSE techniques to develop operational and system views according to DNDAF and UAF.
- Support requirements verification and validation, review test cases, and produce Verification Cross Reference Matrices.
- Present status updates and conduct reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
