About the Role
EZELINK TELECOM seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to architect, implement, and maintain scalable system infrastructure for the wireless industry. The role requires expert Linux administration, virtualization, networking protocols, and automation skills.

Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy highly reliable, scalable, and secure system infrastructure for wireless domain
- Perform advanced Linux OS Administration including kernel fine tuning and OS parameter optimization
- Manage and maintain virtualization platforms (KVM, VMWare, OpenStack) and public cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Configure and manage networking protocols (TCP/IP, RADIUS, DNS, DHCP)
- Implement and manage cluster technologies (DRBD, Pacemaker, HAProxy, Galera) for fault tolerance
- Develop and maintain automation and configuration management code using Bash, Python, Perl, Ansible, Chef, Puppet
- Manage and maintain TICK or TICG monitoring stack for system health and performance metrics
- Configure, secure, and manage web servers (NGINX, Apache, Tomcat) and databases (MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB)
- Continuously monitor and improve system performance, reliability, and security compliance
- Partner with developers, QA, and product managers to ensure infrastructure solutions meet quality standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
- Minimum 8 10 years of experience as a Systems Engineer in the Wireless Industry
- Expert knowledge of Linux OS Administration (RedHat/CentOS) and kernel level performance tuning
- Solid experience with virtualization platforms (KVM, VMWare, OpenStack) and public cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, RADIUS, DIAMETER, GTP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP
- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, Perl
- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, SaltStack)
- Strong understanding of clustering technologies (Pacemaker, DRBD, Galera) and load balancing (HAProxy)
- Experience managing web servers (NGINX, Apache, Tomcat) and databases (MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB)
- Practical experience with TICK or TICG stack for monitoring

Job Purpose
- To serve as a Senior Systems Engineer responsible for architecting, implementing, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure system infrastructure that directly supports products and services within the Wireless Industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Implement Scalable Systems: Architect and deploy highly reliable, scalable, and secure system infrastructure supporting all products and services in the wireless domain.
- Linux System Optimization: Perform advanced Linux OS Administration (Redhat/CentOS focus), including kernel fine tuning and OS parameter optimization for peak performance and security.
- Virtualization & Cloud Management: Manage and maintain environments across virtualization platforms (KVM, VMWare, OpenStack) and major public cloud providers (AWS, GCP, MS Azure).
- Networking Protocol Configuration: Configure and manage critical networking and telecom protocols, including TCP/IP, RADIUS, DNS, and DHCP.
- Clustering & High Availability: Implement and manage cluster technologies (DRBD, Pacemaker, HAProxy, Galera) to ensure fault tolerance and system redundancy.
- Automation & Configuration Management: Develop and maintain automation and configuration management code using Bash, Python, Perl, and tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Monitoring & Telemetry Stack: Manage and maintain the TICK or TICG monitoring stack for comprehensive system health visibility and performance metric analysis.
- Web & Data Layer Management: Configure, secure, and manage core web servers (NGINX, Apache, Tomcat) and relational/NoSQL databases (MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB).
- Performance and Security Improvement: Continuously monitor, analyze, and implement proactive measures to improve overall system performance, reliability, and security compliance.
- Cross Functional Collaboration: Partner with developers, QA, and product managers to ensure infrastructure solutions meet quality standards and support efficient product deployment.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education/Certification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology
- Experience: A minimum of 8 10 years of experience as a Systems Engineer, with extensive background specifically within the Wireless Industry
Technical Skills
- Expert knowledge of Linux OS Administration (specifically Redhat/CentOS) and kernel level performance tuning.
- Solid experience with major virtualization platforms (KVM, VMWare, OpenStack) and public cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Strong practical understanding and configuration experience with TCP/IP, RADIUS, DIAMETER, GTP, DNS, DHCP, and SNMP.
- Strong scripting skills using Bash, Python, and Perl. Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or SaltStack).
