In our company we build chip lithography technology that will enable the next 100 years of chip manufacturing. Founded in 2023, we’re based in Bergen (Norway) and Barcelona (Spain), and backed by some of the world’s most ambitious investors.
Lace Lithography is seeking a highly experienced System Engineer to join our System Design team. In this high-impact role, you will architect and design our lithography systems.
Working alongside physicists and developers, you will be working as a lead designer of Lace’s first industrialized tool.
This role is based in Barcelona (Spain) or Bergen (Norway), and will involve regular travel between our key locations throughout the year.
What You’ll do
Define requirements of the tool’s subsystems and modules
Define the system interfaces and integration strategy
Assure the system meets engineering and compliance standards (SEMI S2)
Act as a bridge between departments
Lead discussions with external/outsourced partners
Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation
Lead technical projects for system development (incl. project scope, timelines, technical risks, progress reports, cross-functional execution etc.)
What we require from You:
Semiconductor Equipment design and manufacturing (at least 2 years of proven experience)
Strong knowledge in optics and metrology
