- Maintain and administer cloud based infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems
- Monitor system performance and proactively address issues to minimize downtime
- Implement and enforce security best practices, including access controls and vulnerability assessments
- Automate routine tasks using scripting and configuration management tools
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to resolve technical challenges and deploy updates
Requirements
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is required
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix system administration and command line operations is essential
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs, is necessary
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes is preferred
- Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving system and application issues
- Ability to write and maintain scripts in Bash, Python, or PowerShell for automation
- Understanding of IT security principles, including firewalls, encryption, and compliance standards
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, or Prometheus is a plus
