Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain servers and related infrastructure.
- Ensure high availability and performance of systems.
- Monitor system health, perform routine maintenance, apply patches and updates.
- Manage user accounts and access controls.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, provide timely technical support to internal teams.
- Document system changes and procedures.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to implement best practices, improve automation, and support infrastructure upgrades.

- Solid Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills
- Hands on Linux System Administration skills
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls) and system security best practices
- Experience with backup and recovery solutions, monitoring tools, and automation/scripting (e.g., Bash, Python)
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Relevant education or certifications such as a degree in IT/Computer Science or credentials like Linux+, RHCSA, or equivalent

- The System Administration Specialist is a full time, on site role based in Abu Dhabi.

Qualifications
- Strong System Administration and Server Administration skills for managing and maintaining enterprise infrastructure.
- Solid Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose, resolve, and document system issues efficiently.
- Hands on Linux System Administration skills for configuring, securing, and optimizing Linux based environments.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls) and system security best practices.
- Experience with backup and recovery solutions, monitoring tools, and automation/scripting (e.g., Bash, Python).
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on site in cross functional teams in Abu Dhabi.
