Role overview

Responsibilities

• Manage Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Nutanix environments, including Acropolis Operating System and Acropolis Hypervisor.
• Implement architecture best practices and coordinate cross-platform migrations.
• Monitor compute alerts, troubleshoot performance and availability issues, and resolve database problems.
• Lead data center technicians and coordinate with server, network, and virtualization teams.
• Execute ITIL Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
• Prepare root cause analysis documentation and execute disaster recovery drills.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in data center infrastructure and Linux systems management.
• Strong knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Nutanix products, database fine-tuning, virtual private clouds, proxies, and load balancing.
• Experience with automation scripting, DevOps methodologies, and Level 2 technical escalations.
• RHCE certification is required, while ITIL certification is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and availability for 24/7/365 roster, on-call, and emergency response work.
