We are hiring 2–3 experienced Switchgear Protection & Commissioning Engineers for a project in Qatar, set to begin in July/August 2026.
The ideal candidates will be capable of independently performing switchgear and protection relay commissioning activities without the need for support from a senior engineer.
Project Details
- Location: Qatar
- Estimated Duration: 3–4 months
• Start Date: July And August 2026
- Hourly Rate: $20/hour
- Transport and accommodation provided by the end customer
- preferable North African Citizens or Local people from Qatar for short term Visa issue .
Required Skills & Experience
- CT/VT testing
- Circuit Breaker testing
• Secondary Injection Testing
- HV Testing
• Electrical Interlock Testing
- Protection relay Binary Input/Output tests
- Protection relay final setting tests
- Protection relay logic tests
Preferred Experience
- Candidates with experience in the following areas will be preferred:
- High-voltage substations
- Utility or industrial projects
- GCC/Middle East commissioning projects
- Siemens, ABB, Schneider, GE, SEL, or similar relay platforms
- Familiarity with commissioning test equipment such as Omicron or Megger
