Coaching Excellence & ECA Provision

  • Act as a strong, visible coach across the Primary and Secondary swimming ECA schedules.
  • Ensure consistent standards, high quality delivery, and aligned coaching methods across all age groups.
  • Support staff and coaches in delivering age appropriate and engaging swimming sessions.

Competitive Opportunities

  • Provide a broad and challenging competitive calendar for students, including DASSA, DSG, Dubai 7s, BSME, WSG, and additional fixtures.
  • Organise and lead annual international swimming tours and trips.

Performance Pathway Development

  • Play a central role in nurturing Performance Squad swimmers through focused training and high performance standards.
  • Work closely with the Strength & Conditioning Lead to support athlete development and progression.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Maintain clear, professional communication with all stakeholders, including DOS, HoPE, SLT, Staff, Parent Body, and Students.
  • Build strong relationships within the school community to enhance engagement, participation, and programme reputation.

Person Profile

  • Specialism in Swimming and experience in leading on Swim Squads is essential.
  • Willingness to take Water Polo and Aquathlon Squads is essential.
  • Being able to offer coaching expertise in other sports such as: Girls Rugby, Football, Basketball, Netball, Volleyball or Athletics would be advantageous.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Passionate about developing young athletes across all age groups.
  • Ability to inspire teams, build community, and elevate standards.
  • The successful candidate would work closely with the Head of Swimming and Head of PE in continuing to drive forward both the Curriculum Swim programme.
  • Applications welcome from both qualified PE Teachers as well as Swim Coaches for this particular role.
